The Eckert-Mauchly Award is administered jointly by the ACM and
IEEE-Computer Society and is presented at the annual International
Symposium on Computer Architecture (ISCA). The award is given for
contributions to computer and digital systems architecture where the
field of computer architecture is considered at present to encompass
the combined hardware-software design and analysis of computing and
digital systems.
The Maurice Wilkes Award is presented at the annual International
Symposium on Computer Architecture (ISCA). The award is given for an
outstanding contribution to computer architecture made by an
individual whose computer-related professional career (graduate school
or full-time employment) began no earlier than 20 years prior to the
time of nomination.
